5 Insta-Spots For Your Summer Photos
Did you know that Houston is home to one of the most Instagrammable spots in Texas? With so many murals, gardens, and eclectic restaurants, there’s no avoiding an opportunity to have the best newsfeed in town. Thankfully, your lifestyle enthusiasts here at Nan and Company Properties/Christie’s International Real Estate are here to give you an insider on where to go this summer to get the best aesthetically pleasing shots around town!
1. The Abstract Happy Beach Wall
The first on our list is the Happy Beach Wall located at 800 Chartres St. Produced by Hue Mural Fest, this wall is perfect for that typical summer vibe photo. The colors and different prints add to the character of this wall and make visiting it a must.
2. New Sugar and Cloth Color Wall and Color Stairs
Next on our tour is the New Sugar and Cloth Color Wall and Color Stairs located at 1201 Main Street. These stairs have recently become popular among the city’s social influencers and photographers. Its discreet location makes it the perfect place to take a picture without the presence of onlookers.
3. Houston and Texas Themed Typography Murals
Created by Artist Phoebe Cornog and Roxy Prima of PANDR Design Co, these Typography Murals are a series of six different walls created with the intention of having a Houston/Texas theme! Their vibrant colors and creative fonts make them hard to ignore as you drive down McKinney St. However, because these murals are located right in the heart of downtown, prior knowledge of available places to park is highly recommended. Located on 1301 McKinney St, these murals face northwards so we recommend stopping by in the afternoon in order to take advantage of the best lighting.
4. The Present Company
Located on 1318 Westheimer Rd, near our beloved Montrose, this cool restaurant and bar is new to the area but has already made a name for itself! Designed for the creative in mind, the Present Company is the perfect place to bring your summer-inspired visuals to life. Whether you’re interested in grabbing a bite to eat or hosting a full-on photo shoot, there’s no better time to be present than at the Present Company.
5. Texas Shaped Lazy River
We’re finally at our last stop and we’re finishing our list poolside! What’s a summer pic without a shot by the pool, right? Located on 1777 Walker St, you’re given the opportunity to forget your troubles as you partake in an out-of-this-world experience. This Texas-size blessing really makes splurging on a staycation at the Marriott Marquis hotel worth every penny!
And with that, we’ve come to the end of our tour! Summer is just getting started so we don’t want you to miss out on the opportunity to capture all that makes this city so beautiful. As Houston’s number one real estate company, Nan and Company Properties/Christie’s International Real Estate is always here to turn luxury living into a lifestyle.
