Sugar Land Holiday Lights 

Celebrate the season in the most magical way at the 8th annual Sugar Land Holiday Lights!

This sparkling wonderland features more than 3 million lights and numerous themed displays at Constellation Field, located in Sugar Land, TX, (15-20 miles from Houston). The #NanFam will have a booth where you can stop by and say hello, so be sure you come see us! You can also get some holiday shopping done with a variety of vendors, enjoy great food, and meet Santa! This spectacular event, located just 20 minutes south of Houston, is sure to make your holidays memorable. It’s fun for the young, and the young at heart!

Sugar Land Holiday Lights is open Nov 19th – Jan 9th and the hours of operation are 6 P.M.-9 PM Sunday – Thursday, and 6 P.M.-10P.M Friday, Saturday and Holidays.

Festival of Lights at Moody Gardens

Enjoy a festive stroll along this mile-long trail featuring more than two million lights and lighted scenes themed to holiday music that take you around the Moody Gardens property with spectacular views of Galveston Bay. Stops along the way bring you to see Star the Dancing Tree of Light, concession areas, hot chocolate, fireside S’mores and other festive foods, Mistletoe, along with plenty of photo and selfie opportunities!

 

The festival is open November 21 – January 02 from 6pm – 10pm daily. 

 

Zoo Lights at The Houston Zoo

TXU Energy presents Zoo Lights at the Houston Zoo celebrates ten years as one of Houston’s best loved holiday traditions! Stroll through the beautiful Zoo grounds as you take in the sights and sounds this holiday season. Our Zoo animals will be enjoying a full night’s slumber. To see our animals, visit the Zoo during the day. Experience the Holiday Grove presented by TXU Energy with animal-themed lanterns and hundreds of glowing flowers under the great oak trees wrapped in winter lights. You can also take a photo in front of the NEW 33’ tall color-changing holiday tree. See “snow” in Texas and explore Winter Wonderland presented by Houston Methodist, take a photo with Santa as he prepares for the holidays in his workshop at Twiga Café, and much more!

*Note that tickets will not be available at the gate and must be purchased online beforehand.

 

Enjoy Breakfast with Santa at the Downtown Aquarium

From December 12th to 24th you can stop by the Downtown Aquarium to dine with Santa and our mascot, Sharkey, and enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet, exhibit discounts and more! (Reservations Required)  Sharkey is also hosting a family-friendly New Year’s Eve party on December 31.
