Every year, the Houston Business Journal hosts the Residential Real Estate Awards to recognize the city’s top selling agents and teams in the industry, based on five lists: agents by sales volume, agents by transactions, teams with 10 or fewer members by sales volume, teams with 10 or fewer members by transactions and teams with 11 or more members by sales volumes. The Residential Real Estate special section in the March 24th edition also includes two luxury Lists, one each for agents and teams.
On March 23, finalists gathered at the Marriott Marquis in Downtown Houston to learn of the competitive rankings. Finalists include 40 brokerages, including 38 teams and 35 agents, all averaging 20 years-worth of residential real estate experience. According to HBJ, nearly 46 percent work between 41 and 60 hours a week, and another 46 percent, including our very own CEO, work more than 60 hours a week!
