NanFam celebrated this year’s 4th of July in style with a huge shoot in our new office in Houston Heights. This was our first ever holiday shoot in The Nan Studio and we had a blast.
We love this location not only because of its amazing design, but you can see Downtown Houston’s Annual Fireworks Display, Freedom over Texas.

HOUSTON BRASS BAND AT POST HOUSTON- DOWNTOWN
Celebrate Independence Day with the Houston Brassband on POST Houston’s Skylawn Rooftop, the largest rooftop park in America! The five-acre park offers breathtaking views of Downtown Houston and the city’s fireworks display, Freedom Over Texas. Known for its luxury food court design, there are various food selections featuring everything from an Oyster Bar to Tex-Mex. And if you’re looking for a drink? RAILWAY HEIGHTS – HOUSTON HEIGHTS
This unique market is one of Houston’s Best kept secrets and has everything you need to have the best time of your life. The 4th of July celebration at Railway Heights will feature more than 70 vendors, live music, a kids’ area, unique food pop-ups alongside Texas BBQ, and a whole roasted pig and crawfish. Enjoy an elegant lawn lined with swings, free glamping bubbles for picnics, a beer garden, dog park, and wine bar—all while taking in a breathtaking fireworks display. 5–10 pm July 3; 8200 Washington
BAYOU BEND COLLECTION AND GARDENS-RIVER OAKS
There’s no better way to celebrate the Fourth of July than with luxury and entertainment in Houston’s historic River Oaks. Head out to Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens for a full day of fun and festivities, with performers, crafts, activities, refreshments, and a giant replica of the Declaration of Independence for everyone to sign. This historic house museum is home to some of the Museum of Fine Arts’ finest American furnishings, silver, ceramics, and paintings. We’d suggest making a day of it if you can—the grounds boast 14 acres of beautifully maintained gardens, and there’s plenty to see and do! BUBBLES AND FIREWORKS BOAT TOUR – DOWNTOWN
Float through the Fourth of July fireworks in style with the Bubbles and Fireworks Boat Tour. Experience all the best views of fireworks from a unique, elevated perspective on this luxury pontoon boat ride. The custom boat docks at Allen’s Landing, the official birthplace of Houston. RED, WHITE, & BOOM FREEDOM CELEBRATION – KATY
At Typhoon Texas, you can celebrate all 4th of July weekend with a bang. This year’s “Red White & Boom” event is a family-friendly celebration that lasts all 4th of July weekend. Visitors can enjoy three fun-filled days at Houston’s newest waterpark, featuring carnival-themed activities, hot air balloon rides, and spectacular fireworks at the end of each night. The weekend grand finale comes in partnership with Katy Mills Mall. A Freedom Celebration fireworks show will start at 9 pm on the 4th of July and can be viewed from the waterpark or Katy Mills Mall.
