Just a Neighbor Away: River Oaks

Located within the inner loop of Houston, the prestigious neighborhood of River Oaks is situated between the Uptown and Downtown areas of the city. This neighborhood was established by Will Hogg and Michael Hogg, sons of the former Texas Governor Jim Hogg, in the 1920s and has withstood the test of time as one of Houston’s most prestigious neighborhoods. Named Houston’s first master-planned community, for years River Oaks has continued to be listed as one of the wealthiest areas in Texas. The historic, Tudor-style homes of River Oaks from the 1920s are now complemented by modern-style homes that show off the design style fitting for the 2000s. As a fellow neighbor of River Oaks for several years now, Nan and Company Properties is proud to continue to be a part of the River Oaks community. Being a neighbor means that we will not only find you your dream home, but we will also connect you with all of the amenities that make you feel like a part of the community, from where to grab the best cup of coffee to the best restaurants for a local date night.

The beauty of River Oaks not only comes from the centuries-old live oak trees that adorn the streets but also from the wide array of home styles that show off the established nature of the neighborhood.
