NAN AND COMPANY PROPERTIES ACHIEVES CERTIFICATION BY THE CITY OF HOUSTON

Nan and Company Properties is always looking for ways to better serve our clients; likewise, we’re just as diligent in pursuing opportunities that help us expand our business and provide excellent service to a wider audience. We are proud to announce that our firm has received three certifications from the city of Houston.

Nan and Company is now a certified Small Business Enterprise (SBE)Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE). These certificates signify that our business is at least 51% owned by a woman or minority businessperson who is at least 25% Asian, Hispanic, African American or Native American.

“Having these certifications puts Nan and Company in the best position to add government entities to our portfolio of clients,” says Nancy Almodovar, CEO. “We’re excited about what this means for our firm and the fact that we are able to go after opportunities that allow us to serve Houston in a wider capacity.”

Public- and private-sector institutions spend billions of dollars on goods and services, and some of those contracts are earmarked for women-owned and minority-owned businesses. The process of gaining certification is a rigorous one, but Nan and Company recognize its importance.

“Houston is one of the most diverse cities in the nation, and our firm represents that diversity very well. We have agents from many backgrounds working with our clientele, and being designated as a minority-owned business quickly sends the message that we are inclusive. There’s no better way to do business,” says Almodovar.

With these certifications, our clients can expect to see Nan and Company Properties reach throughout the city in no time.
