Houston Press Tacolandia – October 19th
Tacolandia is back again! The Houston Press is celebrating their 5th Annual Houston Press Tacolandia hosted by Mission. The event will be taking place October 19th from 4pm-7pm at The Water Works at Buffalo Bayou Park. This outdoor taco- sampling festival will feature Houston’s best tacos, ranging from contemporary tacos to street style. Guests can expect to be entertained by music, cash beer bars, wine and cocktails and a few taco competitions! Tickets range from $35 – $75.

9th Annual Houston Halloween Festival – October 19th
If the event name didn’t give it away, this event is providing you with all things Halloween! The Houston Zombie Walk is putting on their annual Houston Halloween Festival. An organization with a cause, proceeds benefit their Too Ghoul for School Education fund. The event will be taking place on Saturday, October 19th from 5pm -10pm in the Heights. The festival is open to the public with a $10 donation required for entry. Entertainment and activities include live music, food trucks, business & art vendors, beer tents supporting Pup Squad Animal Rescue, kids costume contests, kid friendly entertainment and more! Kids 11 years and under have free entry with a ticketed adult.

Vegan State Fair – Pumpkin Patch Edition – October 20th
The first ever Vegan State Fair is taking place at the Hughes Manor on October 20th. Taking place from 11am – 6pm, invitees will be given the opportunity to walk around the pumpkin patch while being entertained by live music. Guests will also get in contact with carnival style games, vegan food trucks and Houston’s most popular vendors.
