    RODEOHOUSTON

The RODEOHOUSTON® Super Series is a thrilling 20-day tournament-style competition that culminates in the crowning of an event champion in bareback riding, bull riding, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, tie-down roping, team roping, women’s barrel racing, and breakaway roping. With a total payout of $2,178,000, each champion receives $50,000 in addition to previous round winnings, a custom-made saddle and belt buckle, and an invitation to compete at RODEOHOUSTON the following year. As an official PRCA rodeo and an official PRCA NFR money event, earnings from RODEOHOUSTON contribute toward qualification for the NFR and the PRCA World Standings.

Excitingly, RODEOHOUSTON will introduce two new local qualifiers for the 2023 event: the Fort Bend County Fair and Rodeo in Rosenberg, Texas, and the Waller County Fair & Rodeo in Hempstead, Texas. These new qualifiers will replace the Sandhills Stock Show & Rodeo in Odessa, Texas. Champions in each of the eight approved events from each respective Rodeo will receive an invitation to compete at RODEOHOUSTON in 2023.
