Nan and Company Properties has announced the listing of a luxury Tanglewood home, formerly owned by Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub.
Located at 5620 Bordley Drive on a nearly-50,000 square foot double lot — one of the largest lots in Tanglewood — the mansion underwent a full $1.5 million renovation in 2021. High-end, modern finishes have been added to nearly every room in the property, according to Nan and Company. Special features include a home gym, a gourmet kitchen with custom Eggersman cabinetry and a “man cave” fitted with a wet bar and half bath.
Outdoor amenities include a large pool, synthetic lawn, mosquito system, home generator and security cameras. The property also meets drainage requirements for future additions or new construction.
Houston Texan Matt Schaub previously sold the home to the current owners, who are asking for $6.5 million. The luxury property is listed by Ellie Riney and Dana Litwiller of Nan and Company Properties.
