Memorial Park's Summer 2026 Has a New Center of Gravity, and It's on the East Side

For most of the last decade, summer in Memorial Park meant one thing for the people who live next to it: an early lap on the Seymour Lieberman Exer-Trail before the humidity made it pointless. The southern loop did the work. The rest of the park was scenery.

That has changed this year. The programming Memorial Park Conservancy has stacked into June, July, and August 2026 sits almost entirely on the eastern edge of the park, anchored at Clay Family Eastern Glades and the Kinder Land Bridge. If you live in Memorial and you have not adjusted your habits accordingly, you are skipping the most interesting summer the park has run in years.
