Former NFL player and Super Bowl MVP Hines Ward is selling his modern Houston-area home for $2.1 million.
Ward, who played his entire career for the Pittsburgh Steelers, from 1998 to 2011, recently listed his family’s 5,577-square-foot home at 19114 Caney Creek Mills Lane in Cypress, according to Nan and Co. Properties, which has the listing.
A four-time NFL Pro Bowl wide receiver, Ward was head coach of the San Antonio Brahmas for the 2023 season, before the XFL team joined the UFL. Once a candidate for the Houston Texans head coaching job, Ward was recently hired as Arizona State University’s next wide receivers coach.
Ward and his wife, Lindsey Georgalas-Ward, bought their newly constructed Cypress home in June 2022, according to Harris County records. The home is within the Town Lake neighborhood, which features a 300-acre private recreational lake, according to the community’s website.
