I have compiled statistics and trends on the area to provide some additional insight on the housing market in Bellaire.

Bellaire is located on the west side of the 610 loop and is less than 10 minutes away from the Galleria and 15 minutes away from Downtown Houston and the Medical Center. In addition to its convenient location, Bellaire is home to some of the best schools in the city.

I have compiled statistics and trends on the area to provide some additional insight on the housing market in Bellaire. BELLAIRE AVERAGE HOME SALE PRICE

Over the past 5 years, there has been consistent increases in the average sale price of homes in Bellaire. The combination of location and schools, as well as home size and lot space, has driven the demand.

BELLAIRE HOMES SOLD

Nearly 200 homes are sold in Bellaire each year. So far in 2017, the year-to-date sales are exceeding those of 2016 by more than 20%. There are currently over 60 homes available on the market to choose from!

BELLAIRE AVERAGE SQUARE FOOTAGE

Homes sold in Bellaire over the past five years have averaged 4,250 square feet. Although this number has slightly fallen in 2017, the average size of the current homes for sale in Bellaire is close to 5,000 square feet with 4-5 bedrooms and 4-5 bathrooms.

BELLAIRE AVERAGE PRICE PER SQUARE FOOT

The demand for homes in Bellaire has driven increases in the average price per square foot. While the Houston luxury market saw a slight slowdown in 2016, the average price per square foot has stabilized so far in 2017.
