The first stop on our new restaurant tour is a recently established Korean barbecue restaurant called Bori. Located in Spring Branch, this upscale restaurant shows serious interest in fine steaks and other proteins. Diners can look forward to ordering individually-sized portions of meat that can be grilled directly at their table! Guests are then encouraged to order an appetizer before trying one of their top-quality beef, including a ribeye that’s dry-aged for at least 41 days!

 

2. MAD

 

Don’t get mad at me, but I believe this new hot spot is giving neighboring restaurants a run for their money! MAD gives you the traditional Spanish experience without leaving the comfort of your own city. With an unshakeable recollection of life in Spain, MAD was created to share the smells, flavors, and textures that were the inspiration behind the heart of the restaurant. Exquisite tapas, small bites, and wood fire cooked rice make taking a trip to MAD a must for the Houston foodie.

3. Squable

 

Described as having European and American dishes invested with Texas ingredients, this new restaurant was created to reflect the backgrounds of the chefs as Houstonians, while acknowledging their developing maturity regarding fine dining. Their famous marinated mussels on grilled bread with calico beans has diners buzzing about this new hot spot. 4. 1751 Sea and Bar
