Ultra chic and modern is the style is the order of the day for the latest creation by brothers Chung and Chuong Nguyen. The architects-turned-designer/builders have created a work of art at the home located at 5658 Terwilliger Way in the Galleria area.
Chung and Chuong are both graduates of the University of Houston College of Architecture and Design. Chung earned a master’s degree from Columbia and Chuong graduated from Yale. They then put their talents together to create MC2 Architects and MC2 Construction. With this combination under their belts, they have signaled to the world their belief that design and architecture are intrinsically linked.
Their property on Terwilliger Way speaks to this philosophy. The home is a two-story structure that sits on a 16,000 square feet lot. Upon entering, one is immediately greeted by expansive windows, lots of natural light, high ceilings, and gorgeous floor treatments. The home has up to six bedrooms depending on the preference of the owner, six full baths and a half bath, a utility room, game room and media room. A living room fireplace adds to the warm and mystic of the home.
This multi-level house is perfect for anyone who loves expansive spaces. This home is an interior designer’s playground, with clean lines and natural color tones.
Residential homes aren’t the only projects in the brothers Nguyen purview. You can see their work at a number of popular, trendy restaurants including Lemon Grass, Trinity, MF Sushi and Lily Rain.
