Midtown Wine Down in Bagby Park – Kick off your weekend at Midtown’s monthly happy hour in Bagby Park! The event features music from the Justin Taylor Band and happy hour specials on food and drinks from Rico’s Morning Noon Night. Shop Local Market at Saint Arnold Brewery – If you’re looking to do a little shopping, this one’s for you. Stay away from the mall this weekend, and try shopping locally! Shop for artwork, vintage clothing, and more from local vendors at this pop-up market at the Saint Arnold Brewery! We’re sure you’ll score some sweet finds. Starting at 5 p.m., you and your friends can enjoy this indoor market with lots of great beer, music, art, and more!

SATURDAY

The Original Harlem Globetrotters at NRG Arena – Think of it as the circus meets the NBA: all the acrobatics you’d expect, with more joy and humor than a Rockets playoff game! The star-studded roster will have fans on the edge of their seats to witness the ball handling wizardry, basketball artistry and one-of-a-kind family entertainment that will surely excite fans of all ages. You can also join Globetrotter stars after the game where they will stay for an autograph, photograph, and high five session for fans!

The Lion King at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts – Disney’s spectacular Broadway show makes its return to Houston! “Ron Mueck” at the Museum of Fine Arts – Spend the afternoon exploring the visual masterpieces of Ron Mueck as he illustrates humanity’s journey from cradle to grave.
