Which Houston Neighborhood Best Fits Your Lifestyle?

One benefit of leasing is that it gives you the freedom to move more frequently than you can with home ownership. This freedom allows you to explore living in a variety of different neighborhoods around the city you live in. Houston is one of the most diverse cities in the nation, and its neighborhoods are no different. Each neighborhood provides a unique experience and best suits different lifestyles. Our area experts are here to help you find the neighborhood that best fits your lifestyle!

    Eclectic & Lively

If you think of things like vintage shops, trendy coffee spots, live music joints, museums, and bars with lots of character, then the Midtown/Montrose district is for you! This area is adjacent to downtown and is predominately made up of residents in their mid 20s to late 30s. The area is highly walkable (for both humans and pups alike) and also offers various public transportation options. In the morning, you might enjoy heading over to Midtown Park, where you’ll find six acres of green and recreational space. You are also close to the Houston Museum District which features over 50 different cultural institutions, museums, and more. Montrose is also Houston’s LGBTQIA community epicenter and has a high concentration of gay bars.

    In The Heart of Luxury

If you’re looking for a place that really offers you that big-city feel, you should consider living near The Galleria / Uptown area! The neighborhood is dominated by many high-and mid-rise office spaces and modern apartment complexes. This area offers an abundance of amazing food spots and great nightlife options. Not to mention you’re minutes away from The Galleria shopping center, the largest mall in Texas! In addition, the River Oaks Shopping District is also in the area and offers an abundance of  luxury storefronts, boutiques, sidewalk cafes, and an iPic movie theater!

    Trendy and Small-Town Charm

This area is one of the city’s oldest planned communities. The vintage vibe of this neighborhood, combined with its cute walkable streets and growing local businesses and shops, gives Houston Heights a classic neighborhood feel. This area puts you near some of the best bars and restaurants in the city, and there seems to always be new places popping up. One of the area’s most frequented stops is 19th Street, which features an eclectic collection of clothing boutiques, gift shops, antiques, art galleries, local eateries, and more.
